HR is the key to long term survival


IBM has long been known as an innovator of technology, but it has been the recent innovations it has used in HR (like using Second Life to hold meetings) that has allowed it to stay relevant as an analog behemoth in a digital world.  Though I think this article only exposes the tip of the iceberg of the 21st century workforce (or at least the next 30 years of it) it is good to see very traditional companies embracing new paradigms of how work gets done.
